An open apology from RK19's founder.

First, it been a real financial struggle to keep RK19 going. At one time a 100% refund was offered. Some individuals never received their refund cause I could not afford to pay them at the time. Over the years I believe I have tracked down most of those who were not paid back and paid them. If you're one and I have not paid you back please contact me at ken@rk19.com and I will pay you back when possible. Please don't hesitate to post this in the hair forums, I would like to pay back those individuals.

Second, I would like to apologize to any person who believes they were mislead by the RK19 web site or any associated e-mail, spam, forum posting etc. In my battle to gains acceptance for RK19 in an unbelievably skeptical and tough industry I acted incorrectly, and overly aggressively on several occasions. I directly apologize to all the hair forum owners and most importantly their forum members. When I initially introduced RK19 I was so worried people would steal it that I made up some stories about how I discovered it, stupid stuff about it being left in the sun, etc. I made the discovery story up in an attempt to hide it's ingredients, based on selfish, immature and paranoid assumptions on my part.

I discovered RK19's effectiveness by accident, I was taking a combination of vitamins and anti-inflammatories. It stopped my hair loss after a while and grew back some of the recent hair I had lost. I was so excited about my results it never dawned on me it would not work on everyone, and that everyone would not just believe me when I told them my story. In my ignorance and arrogance, when I found out people did not believe me I acted poorly and aggressively, saying and doing things I now regret. Again, if your are an individual who I offended, please accept my apology.

My statements about RK19's effectives have always been based on my current knowledge about its results on myself and customers. All the pictures and customer e-mails on the web site were real. It's been about 6 years since I started using it, selling it and getting trashed about it. After 6 years of use, my hair loss has stopped and I have grown vellus hair all over the areas of my scalp that where slick bald for 20 years. A few of the vellus hairs have taken off, but that's it. I don't know if the rest ever will. Stopping my hair loss will have to be the best for me, at the least.

After 6 years, based on re-orders, and customer correspondence, my most recent estimate, on the conservative side, is that is RK19 is effective on 28% of it's users.

I was going to take the web site down, but I have a several dozen committed users (those it works for, like me who will never stop taking it), so I decided to leave up the order page for them. It's no longer worth my time or effort keeping up the customer photo page. For every three people RK19 works for it fails on seven. The three it worked for might tell one or two others, the seven it failed on will tell five to ten others, or more, each. My offer still stands for anyone to come visit me in S. F. and see the vellus hairs RK19 grew and the few new hairs normal hairs, on my scalp that's been slick bald for over 20 years.

To the users who RK19 works for, to re-order please send your name address and credit card information in two different e-mails to ken@rk19.com.

Note: I only will accept new customers who come visit me and see my new hair growth in person and report what they find on-line..

P.S. Just to be clear. RK19 works, it grew hair from my slick bald scalp of 20 years. However after several years most of them are still vellus hairs. I've given up the battle of trying to sell RK19. With the latest success rate just under 30% (based on my 5 years of customer interaction) and being a little guy in a very nasty and skeptical industry it just not worth it. My goal in selling RK19 has always been two fold: One, to make enough money to run the business. Two, to save guys in their twenties who suffer from severe hair loss. Had I been using RK19 when I started going bald, my guess is I was around 19yrs old, I would have never went bald and would have had a very different life.
